The cheetah on racetrack: It can beat Ussain Bolt but not David Rudisha

On august 3, 212 a female cheetah set a new record of covering 100 meters in just 5.95 seconds, far better than Ussain Bolt- the fastest man on earth. The reason cheetah can run so fast are -
1. They have long legs.
2. The have highly flexible muscle connected to legs.
3. They have springy backbone which give them boost in speed.

The record of 800 meter race was set by a Kenyan runner David Rudisha of 1 min 41.01 seconds. The cheetah's normal body temperature is 102 degree Fahrenheit. It is Observed that once the cheetah gets momentum beyond the speed of 16 kms per hour, its body cannot release excess heat. The grueling task performed by the cheetah leads to the storage of 90 % of heat produced, within its body thus increasing its body temperature to great extent. So it takes rest for 15-20 minutes to get its body temperature to normal. so David Rudisha can easily overcome cheetah. :)
